Hello and Welcome!

My name is Delicia, a Jesus-loving wife, mama, homeschooler, and homesteader. We’ve been homeschooling for over 7 years now, and our homesteading journey started even before that where we garden, raise animals, make messes, and learn a lot as we go.

This blog is intended to be a place where I share what we’ve learned (and are still learning!), from homeschooling routines and curriculum ideas to canning, chickens, and finding peace in the middle of chaos. It’s not perfect, and neither are we, but God is so faithful, and He’s in every detail. Hopefully, it will continue to evolve as I improve at sharing my knowledge, experiences, and everything in between.

More than anything, I want this space to express the chaos and fulfillment that comes from being a stuart to our children, and encourage you, whether you’re trying to figure out your first homeschool year or just dreaming of chickens in your backyard. Life on the homestead and in the homeschool is messy, beautiful, and full of moments that remind us of God’s goodness.
