Welcome to Growing Faith & Raising Dreams

I’m so glad you’re here. Chances are you’re carrying a lot—maybe homeschooling, maybe homesteading, maybe just trying to keep your head above water with kids, housework, and everything in between. If that’s you, then you’re in the right place.

I know what it feels like to try and be supermom. For over six years now, I’ve been homeschooling my children, and even longer than that, we’ve been living the homestead life—caring for animals, tending a garden, and managing the everyday chaos that comes with it all. Somewhere along the way, I realized that no matter how many lists I made or routines I tried to perfect, I could never do it all.

And here’s the truth that doesn’t get talked about enough:
Every mom feels like she’s failing at some point.

We set such high expectations for ourselves, convinced that if we just worked harder, planned better, or prayed more consistently, then maybe our kids would get the perfect education, our homes would stay spotless, and our freezers would always be stocked with homegrown meals. But the truth is, sometimes the laundry piles up, sometimes the math lesson ends in tears, and sometimes the garden doesn’t get weeded.

That doesn’t mean we’re failing.
It means we’re human.

The good news? We don’t have to stay in that place of overwhelm. And we don’t have to walk through this season alone. That’s why I started Growing Faith & Raising Dreams—to share the lessons, the garden banter, the mess, and the grace that God keeps pouring into our days.

Here you’ll find practical ideas for building routines, encouragement for those hard homeschooling days, and glimpses of life on our homestead. But more than that, I hope you find a reminder that you are not alone in this journey. God meets us right in the middle of the chaos, and He equips us for the work He’s called us to do as nurturers.

One verse I remind myself of often is Proverbs 22:6:
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

That’s not a call to perfection—it’s an invitation to faithfulness. Day by day, chore by chore, lesson by lesson, we’re planting seeds in our children’s hearts. And just like the garden, some days the growth is hidden, but God is always at work.

So my dear, take a deep breath. You don’t have to be a supermom. You just have to be faithful with what’s in front of you today. And when you need encouragement, a fresh idea, or just someone to say, “I get it,” I hope you’ll find it here.

Welcome to Growing Faith & Raising Dreams. Let’s walk this road together—honoring God, raising our kids, and yes, even wrangling those animals—one day at a time.
